About ESC Connect

ESC Connect is an open directory of people from Türkiye who have taken part in a European Solidarity Corps project, or are about to.

It exists for four reasons. Former volunteers in the same city should be able to find each other. People about to leave should be able to ask questions of people who have already been. Volunteers in the same country should be able to meet. And a community built over ten years should stay alive after the projects end.

It is a directory, not a forum. There is no feed, no chat and no comment section. Every profile is created and managed by the volunteer it belongs to. Nobody is added by hand.

ESC Connect is run by Gençlik Çalışmaları Derneği, an accredited sending organisation, alongside esc.org.tr.
